Martha V. Iturrioz, Esq. is an owner and trial partner of Morrison, LaRossa, Price & Iturrioz.

Personal injury law refers to the legal remedies and defenses involved in civil lawsuits brought as a result of wrongful conduct. In fact, the word "tort" comes from a Latin term meaning twist, wrong, or harm.
Family law encompasses everything from divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property issues, premarital issues, same-sex marriage agreements and divorces.
A divorce is the legal termination of a marriage by a court in a legal proceeding, requiring a petition or complaint for divorce (or dissolution in some states) by one party. There are two types of divorce-- fault and no-fault.
A legal separation can involve a court order declaring that a couple is no longer living together and that all the issues concerning the marriage have been resolved (child custody, child visitation, child support, spousal support, distribution of property, attorney fees, and personal conduct), but the marital status of the couple remains unchanged.
Mediation is one of the most frequently used methods of negotiating a divorce settlement. In divorce mediation, you and your spouse—or, in some cases, the two of you and your respective lawyers—hire a neutral third party, called a mediator, to meet with you in an effort to discuss and resolve the issues in your divorce.
Minor’s counsel is a neutral voice for the child, without compromising the child’s rights, emotional well-being, or forcing the child to side with one parent or the other. Minor’s counsel only represents the child. If there is more than one child involved, separate counsel for each child may be appointed.

Jennie" was referred to me by a friend for my divorce. She guided me through a very difficult process and was kind and very caring as are her paralegals and staff. I felt so confident with her, she also handled my living trust and some personal and business matters.

This office is wonderful. I have had two separate cases this year and they handled both for me. I was scared and nervous, but they made me feel empowered and were very concerned for me and my kids. The attorneys went above and beyond my expectations. Martha Iturrioz was a firecracker in court and got me more than what I had even requested in both cases. Susan Margeson also helped me so much making sure I understood every details of both cases keeping me calm and reassuring me I was in good hands. They all kept my kids best interest in the front of everything else, which made me so comfortable. My kids are happy, healthy and able to go to the school they wanted. I would (and have) highly recommend hiring this firm for any of your family law issues. They went above & beyond what was expected. Thank you all very much.
